MGM Penthouse Show

Last night  Robert ParkMilk Money and  I went to the The MGM Grand where Robert Park and Milk Money did a private viewing of their art for a small audience.  It was very intimate, had an amazing violinist and views!

Before everybody showed up I took some time and took a few shots with my iPhone. Robert even took a shot of me on the balcony.

The best canvas prints in Las Vegas is Nevada Art printers,

I have used this company to make canvas prints for Christmas gifts.
The staff is courteous and patient . I brought in a file of an image that I would like printed on canvas for a Christmas gift. They made a proof of my file so I can see it. Before printing the larger size. When I picked up the finished stretched canvas print I was extremely happy with the quality of the print. It is safe to say that my Christmas gift was a big hit this year. Thanks to the wonderful staff atNevada art printers. I have never seen my prints look so good. If you are looking for a place to have some images printed on canvas I would highly recommend this company.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY!! From Chelsea Stark Photography www.chelseastarkphotography.com

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY!!

For each new morning with its light, For rest and shelter of the night, For health and food, for love and friends, For everything Thy goodness sends. For flowers that bloom about our feet; For tender grass, so fresh, so sweet; For song of bird, and hum of bee; For all things fair we hear or see, Father in heaven, we thank Thee! ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

A good friend of mine named Jolanta Pilinkaite the ownerofSensemadethispanels wrote this for me. By Blind photographer Chelsea Stark

I have tunnel vision and can only see to about two feet in front of me.
I use the live view to compose the pictures since I cannot see through the viewfinder.
for me, photography means that I can pause the World around me so I can get a better view.

Art is not the medium, and art is not the execution; art is the idea.
The best way I can describe it is this saying: I found art is everywhere and all you have to do is look.
With the right amount of inspiration and ideas you can make art out of anything.
What does beauty mean to me as a visually impaired photographer?
I believe beauty is something that moves you and inspires you.

Travelling - when you get that amazing photo it's all worth it.
I am legally blind and was born with optic nerve demage.
My most memorable place:
Yellowstone national park . It gave me a little bit of everything.
Since my field of vision is so narrow I photograph close up intimate subjects.
I find inspiration in the majestic mountain sides. The animal that stops and looks at you almost like they're posing so you can take their picture. And the newly bloomed flower that reaches out to the sun.
Animals, flowers and landscape all-in-one.
Makes me feel energized and excited.

Understanding of how photography can be used by blind people. By Blind photographer Chelsea Stark

Blind photography “I think, for me, photography means that I can pause the World around me so I can get a better view. Some key questions people tend to ask me are. What does art mean to me? The best way I can describe it is this saying I found. "Art is not the medium, and art is not the execution; art is the idea."While this opinion is debatable, it's one with which I happen to agree with and one that blind photography supports. Where do I find art?  Art is every where and all you have to do is look. With the right amount of inspiration and ideas you can make art out of anything. Where do I find inspiration? I find inspiration in! The majestic mountain sides. The animal that stops and looks at you almost like they're posing so you can take their picture. And the newly bloomed flower that reaches out to the sun. Do I enjoy traveling as a visually impaired photographer? All  I can say is when you get that amazing photo it's all worth it. What does beauty mean to me as a visually impaired photographer? I believe beauty is something that moves you and inspires you. I believe beauty is everywhere. Also I believe in the saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."  I hope this explains a little bit to you what photography means to me.
